Pillar Candle Making Class

£50.00

Embark on a creative journey in this engaging 2 to 3 hour pillar candle-making workshop. You will learn to craft three distinctive candles using three different techniques. Projects can a flower, an ombré bubble candle, a honey comb pillar candle. Projects are seasonal and may change according to the time of the year and the class plan. For example, the season of autumn brings opportunities to make Christmas tree or Halloween themed candles.

Under the guidance of a skilled instructor, you will master essential techniques such as pouring, threading wicks into moulds, setting wax in moulds, the different temperatures in the candle making process, using colour, ombré design and more. The workshop includes familiarisation with tools and equipment like melting pots, wicking, pouring containers, ensuring a successful candle-making experience.

Enjoy a practical, hands-on crafting session as you pour, mould, and decorate your candles, three beautifully crafted pieces that reflect your artistic expression.  Candles will be posted out the next day in beautiful packaging. Pillar candles require a longer setting time. Unmoulding too soon can damage the candles. Throughout the workshop, indulge in a selection of refreshments and pastries, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere to share this unique experience.

At Craft & Create, we very much would like you to immerse yourself in the creative experience of candle making and leave feeling proud of your achievements.
