The process

Every project begins with an assessment. Celal will visit to look at the piece if local, or request pictures, understand what you’d like to achieve, and give you a clear, honest quote before any work begins. There are no hidden costs and no surprises once work is underway — the price agreed at the outset is the price you pay.

For projects requiring French polishing — whether restoring a frame, matching existing woodwork or finishing a new commission — Celal works alongside a trusted French polisher to ensure every element of your piece is completed to the same standard.

Fabric: Customers are welcome to supply their own fabric. If you need guidance on suitable materials for your project, Celal is happy to advise during your consultation.

Fillings: All fillings are supplied by Celal as part of the service.

Collection and delivery: Celal collects locally, works on your piece in our Basingstoke studio, and returns it to you on completion. Your furniture is handled with care at every stage.

Every piece of furniture is different, and pricing reflects the scope of work involved. Following your initial assessment, you will receive a clear quote with no obligation. Work only begins once you are completely happy to proceed.
