Beginners Melt & Pour Soap Making Class

Welcome to our engaging melt and pour soap-making workshop! In this up to 3-hour session, you’ll be guided by Vedia, a seasoned soap-maker known for her creativity and craftsmanship.

Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with refreshments and cakes while you learn the art of creating beautiful, customised soaps using melt and pour techniques.

Workshop Summary:

- Meet Vedia: Learn from Vedia, an experienced instructor recognised for her skill in soap-making and candle-making at Hatfield Park, sharing her passion with you.

- Essential Tools and Equipment: Get acquainted with the basic tools required, including melting methods, soap moulds, mixing utensils, and safety gear for a safe crafting environment.

- Understanding Soap Bases: Explore the various melt and pour soap bases, including glycerin, goat milk, and shea butter, and learn about their unique properties and benefits.

- Colouring and Fragrance Techniques: Discover how to add color and fragrance to your soaps using natural colorants and essential oils, enhancing the aesthetic and sensory appeal.

- Moulding Techniques: Master the process of pouring melted soap into moulds, ensuring you achieve the desired shapes and designs while avoiding common pitfalls.

- Customising Your Soaps: Learn how to incorporate additives like exfoliants, herbs, and other natural ingredients to create personalised soaps tailored to your preferences.

- Creative Design Ideas: Get inspired with creative design ideas and layering techniques to elevate your soap-making skills and produce visually stunning results.

Workshop FAQ's & Cancellation Policy

Attendance & Requirements:
Our workshops are available exclusively for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. Please contact us at asabove3@gmail.com to check if a younger participant can attend. It is recommended that participants arrive at the workshop location 5 minutes prior to the start time to allow sufficient time for preparation and relaxation.

Change in Workshop Dates due to insufficient bookings:

If a minimum number of 6 students do not book onto a course we reserve the right to rearrange the workshop date to fit numbers less than 6 onto the one workshop. This will be done at least 10 days prior to a booking and the date will be organised to suit all participants. If an alternative and satisfactory date cannot be offered a full refund will be provided.


Payment and Booking:
All workshop bookings must be paid in full prior to the start of the workshop to secure the reservation.

Cancellation Policy:
In the event of a cancellation, notice must be provided to us no later than 10 days prior to the scheduled workshop date in order to reschedule the booking. If notice is not given within 10 days or if the participant fails to attend the workshop, the full workshop fee will be charged.

A change in the workshop date may be requested with notice given no later than 10 days prior to the scheduled workshop date.

Whilst we will do our best to accommodate change requests, we cannot be guaranteed due to the limited availability of our small space. In the event that a change cannot be accommodated, the original workshop date will be honoured and follow our standard cancellation policy as detailed above.

If a participant is more than 10 minutes late, the workshop will commence and will be considered redeemed.

If last-minute attendance is not possible, please email us at asabove3@gmail.com. Any decision to offer an alternative arrangement will be at our discretion.

Private Workshops:
Private workshops are available for special events and celebrations. To request a private workshop, please contact us at asabove3@gmail.com. Private workshop bookings start at a minimum of 6 attendees.

Gift Vouchers:
Gift vouchers are available for purchase and are redeemable for any of our workshop experiences that are ran directly by us. They are redeemable for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase.

Vouchers are available in a digital or physical format. Please make sure to order the correct voucher type at checkout.
Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash value.
