The fragrance
Last Light is the candle for the moment the sun drops below the treeline — that brief, gold-edged window before the evening properly sets in.
It opens with orange, warm and unmistakable, carrying something between a kitchen at Christmas and the last ember of a bonfire. Not sweet in the obvious way — there’s a spice running underneath that keeps it from tipping into dessert territory, closer to a mulled drink than a fruit bowl. This is the note that leads, and it leads clearly.
Beneath that, mandarin, lavender and amber sit as a quieter, golden base — dusty, a little soft-edged, there to round off the orange rather than compete with it. The lavender doesn’t announce itself the way it does in a purely relaxing candle; here it’s folded into something warmer and less about stillness, more about glow.
And then, barely there, a breath of verbena — green, faintly herbal, gone almost as soon as you notice it. It’s the smallest thing in the room, but it’s the lift that keeps the whole candle from feeling too heavy.

Orange leads here, but not the fruit-bowl kind — there’s real spice running through it, closer to a mulled drink, that keeps it from ever tipping sweet. Mandarin, lavender and amber sit underneath as a soft, dusty base, warming rather than cooling the way lavender usually does. A last breath of verbena keeps the whole thing from settling too heavy.
Blended entirely in house at our studio at Folly Farm.
The wax
A European plant-based wax — rapeseed and coconut — chosen for its burn as much as its credentials. No paraffin, no palm, no synthetic fillers. Just a clean, slow, even burn that lets the fragrance do what it was designed to do.
The vessel
The amber apothecary jar has been used in dispensaries and stillrooms for centuries — a vessel associated with careful preparation, with things made slowly and with intention. It protects the fragrance from light, preserves the scent between burns, and sits on a shelf with the quiet authority of something that belongs there permanently.
