The fragrance
The Sunlit Grove is an orchard at the height of summer — fruit warming on the branch, flowers open in the heat, the light coming through the leaves in patches. Bright and open and full of air.
It opens on ripe peach: soft, golden, sun-warmed, with that downy sweetness you get holding one straight off the tree. Generous without being sugary — more fruit than dessert.
Then freesia blooms through the middle, soft and faintly peppery, with the clean green sweetness of cut flowers in a warm room. It lifts the peach and gives it a floral lightness, keeping the whole thing fresh rather than heavy.
And underneath, holding it down, a quiet warmth of fresh ginger. Just a thread — gently spiced, a little golden — enough to stop the fruit and flowers floating off and to give the brightness somewhere to settle. It’s what turns a simple summer scent into something with a bit of depth.

Made at Craft & Create
Fruit and flowers are the easiest things to overdo — a step too far and it’s boiled sweets and air freshener. The whole effort here went into keeping it real: ripe and open, but never synthetic; sweet, but never cloying.
The peach leads, the freesia lifts it, and the ginger warms the base so it reads like an orchard in the sun rather than a sweet shop. Each note earns its place against the others. Blended and poured by hand at our studio at Folly Farm, and tested across every stage of the burn — cold throw, hot throw, melt pool, the way it carries through a room. Original, and made nowhere else. The work of ten years of fragrance work and a good deal of restraint.
The wax
The same European plant-based wax we use across the range — rapeseed and coconut — which rounds soft fruit and floral notes beautifully and stops them turning sharp as they warm. It holds peach and freesia in balance from the first light to the last, releasing the scent gently and evenly rather than all at once.
Sustainably sourced. Free from paraffin, palm, soy, and synthetic fillers. A slow, clean burn that keeps a fresh fragrance fresh.
The vessel
The amber apothecary jar gives a bright, summery scent a quiet weight — its warm tinted glass guarding the fragrance from the light while it waits between burns. Simple and solid, and made to be kept: rinsed out, the jar finds a second life long after the grove has faded for the year.
