The fragrance
Faded Silk is a memory of something. Not a specific one — more a feeling. The kind of scent that makes you pause when you catch it, certain you recognise it, unable to say exactly from where.
It opens softly. A hypnotic amber — warm and resinous, with an intimate heart of sandalwood and the earthy depth of Indonesian patchouli. Rich without being heavy. Grounding without being dark.
Then the rose arrives — an English rose, soft and classical, with green notes and violet and a whisper of geranium. Not sweet, not sharp — the kind of rose that actually smells like the flower.
And then the secret, barely there: bergamot sparkling at the edges, pink pepper, juniper, incense. Ambergris and musk at the base. Patchouli threading through from beginning to end. Something that stops this from being simply a floral and makes it warm and complex and quietly sensual.

Some fragrances announce themselves. Faded Silk doesn’t. It reveals itself — slowly, in layers, as the blend settles into a room.
The amber and patchouli do most of the structural work. They are the foundation — warm, grounding, persistent. But without the rose to soften them, they risk becoming too heavy. Every element was chosen for what it contributes to the others, not just to the fragrance in isolation.
Blended entirely in house at our studio at Folly Farm. Original. Unrepeatable anywhere else. This diffuser carries the same fragrance as the candle, adapted for a slow, continuous release.
The blend
100ml of fragrance blend in a natural diffuser base, with headspace left for the reeds. Chosen to carry warm, resinous notes evenly, without letting them become heavy in a room.
The vessel
An amber glass bottle with eight natural reeds. Amber glass filters light in a way that protects fragrance compounds from degradation, keeping the scent’s integrity consistent for as long as the diffuser lasts.
