The Fragrance Story
The Souk was born from a singular obsession with the scent of the Medina at dusk—that specific moment when the day’s heat meets the rising smoke of evening incense. This is an unapologetically deep, "shadowy" fragrance. To create it, we took the raw, golden elements of our Argan soap and deepened them for the flame. It opens with a sharp note of cracked black pepper and a heavy, resinous Smokey Oud. As the amber glass warms, it releases a heart of Midnight Amber and Weathered Leather—scents that feel as though they have existed for centuries.
The Craft: Coconut & Soy
We believe the "throw" of a fragrance is as important as its notes. We use a bespoke blend of Natural Coconut and Soy wax for its superior scent delivery and sustainable, clean-burning properties. Housed in heavy-weight Apothecary Amber Glass, the vessel is chosen specifically to soften the light, casting a honeyed glow that transforms your space into a sanctuary.
• The Label: Hand-cut, textured cream paper that feels like parchment under the thumb.
• The Finish: Bound with raw jute twine, knotted by hand in our studio.
• The Signature: Every candle is tucked into a Kraft window box and finished with our C&C Bronze Wax Seal. We place the seal on the box to ensure it remains a keepsake, protecting the design while your candle burns safely.

The Hands Behind the Craft
Craft & Create began at a small wooden bench with a simple goal: to make things that feel as good as they smell. I am a firm believer that in a world of mass production, there is a quiet power in the "imperfect" touch of a human hand.
Every product in this apothecary is a labor of patience. I hand-pour our Coconut-Soy candles in micro-batches, hand-cut every label, and tie every knot of jute twine myself. My philosophy is rooted in the "Slow Craft" movement—using only clean, paraben-free ingredients and traditional methods to create a sensory experience that grounds you in the present moment. When you hold a Craft & Create candle, you are holding hours of testing, a passion for raw materials, and a little piece of my studio.
